Painted Flared Stairs - April 2011

This is the landing of one of our recent fit-out projects. It consisted of a painted flared stairs with quarter turn to the 1st floor shown here and then a 2nd straight flight to the top floor. It was a hand painted cut string stairs with mahogany handrail, turned spindles & newel posts with hand cut detail step brackets. We also panelled the walls on the ground & first floor & the stair flights. See the full collection of photographs here.

Classical Curves March 2011

This is a preview of a project recently finished which incorporates a range of custom curved doors and detailed curved paneling. Again we have complimented the finishing touches by adding a new bespoke cornice feature along with solid maple internal features such as spices racks, cutlery & utensil inserts & pull out storage solutions. The kitchen is completed by adopting double layers of Emperador marble in the counters & with the use of our, favoured, hand-painted finish. See the pictures here.

All in the Details, September 2010

First off, thanks to all of you who visited us at the recent Self Build Show at Citywest on September 10th, 11th & 12th last. A number of people had enquired about the popularity of the painted kitchen & about subtely adding features to break up the typical monotone finish. I have added these shots of a job we are currently working on to give you an idea of how we like to introduce some simple details in natural wood to highlight the features of a unit & also to soften the overall finish. If you have any other queries or would like to call & see our showroom please contact us & we will be happy to help.

Something Different, July 2010

Lately we have been getting a lot of enquiries about our custom joinery. Especially our period front doors, stairs & paneling. So to help with your request we are working on adding a photo gallery of this work to the website. Getting as much of your timber-work (kitchen, stairs, doors, bathroom units, wardrobes etc)from one source not only gets you more competitive costs but also saves you a lot of time & effort rather than trying to organise 4 or 5 different suppliers. Call to or show room or contact us by phone/ e-mail if you would like us to look at a package tailored to your specific requirements.
